    Vacation rental in my experience can be equal or sometimes even better alternative to hotel rooms. When you travel in group the economics to make sense. Something to consider.

    I think that renting a villa is an excellent idea; it gives you more privacy and flexibility. Also, generally the more people that are sharing, the cheaper the cost per person.

  6. Alternatively, you could rent a property? Or see if you have any friends who own properties?
