The Mayflower Grace opens in Washington, Connecticut

This month, Grace Hotels formally takes over the Mayflower Inn & Spa in Washington, Connecticut following an extensive refurbishment. The property, now named the Mayflower Grace is also introducing an impressive new dining restaurant – ‘MuseÂ’ by highly acclaimed Grand Chef Relais & Château Jonathan Cartwright. Muse specialises in international food and wine, drawing on local cuisine and seasonal Connecticut ingredients. Visitors can expect a European take on New England classics such as butter poached Maine lobster and scallop mousseline accompanied by sautéed kale, fennel, lemon gnocchi and cognac coral butter sauce. The Mayflower Grace is a 30-room property set amid idyllic gardens and has been granted the rare accolade of both the Forbes five-star and AAA five-diamond status. This is the second American location for the luxury hotel group – rates for a classic room start from $775. Mayflower Grace
