Perhentian

Get a massage while you bake in the sun, snorkel with manta rays or take a walk through the abundance of wild life. At night enjoy fire shows, dancing or a relaxing drink on the beach.
Redang
Redang has the whitest squeakiest powder sand you are ever likely to encounter. Choose to stay in a complex or on a deserted beach – a perfect way to unwind. You can swim with turtles, explore the island or play volley ball on the beach.
Langkawi
With miles of beautiful white sand beaches – not a person in sight. Langkawi is a large island with plenty to disciover including waterfalls, shopping malls and some of the best snorkelling at a near by marine wildlife island reserve. Take a day trip on a sailing boat and see monitor lizards swimming and visit deserted beaches on a kayak.
Tioman

Penang

I traveled in Malaysia for four months but I’ve only been to Penang so far of the five. Honestly, I like Penang not so much for the beach but for the food, culture and its historical significance as a major sea port in the old days..Maybe I really should go back and check out the others!
Wow, these beaches looks amazing! Have been to Malaysia once, to Cherating Beach and Penang Beach. Really wanted to go to the Perhentian Islands, but then the rainy season started and the boats stopped running. Next time I will go to Perhentian Islands! Have heard that the diving there is spectacular!
I read this article sitting on the balcony of my hotel in Penang, and couldn’t agree more. We are loving this place! Most of my countrymen don’t make it out here (USA), but I’m blessed to work in China, and it’s an easy hop for my family. Come to Penang!
