For most stepping away from the tourist tracks into a fantasy of a uninhabited private beach is not attainable – but for those resourceful enough the hidden gems are still here! New Chums, New Zealand Known for its tranquillity and peacefulness, New Chums Beach has been voted among the best beaches in the world. Due to the inaccessibility of the island it has remained hidden and off the route of the tourist masses. The beauty of this island mean it will not stay quiet for long. Holbox Island Whitehaven Beach, Australia Australia’s most beautiful beach, Whitehaven is accessible by boat and showcases stretches of white sand and stunning turquoise waters. This beach is perfect for relaxation and escape, and, has been named among the top experiences in Australia. Whitehaven Beach Praia do Carvalho, Lagoa, Algarve, Portugal This secluded beach offers escape from the resort region. Surrounded by cliffs this small sandy cove offers swimmers calm waters and golden sands. During low season the beach is often deserted, while in high season the surrounding cliffs offer shade from the heat. Punta Molentis, Sardinia, Italy The distinguished white sand shoreline of Punta Molentis is the perfect spot for those seeking exclusivity and privacy. Surrounded by cliffs you could easily be mistaken for thinking you were in the Caribbean. The crystal clear waters make this the perfect spot for scuba diving and snorkeling. Punta Molentis Egkremnoi, Greece A remote beach on Lefkada, Egkremnoi is one of the most beautiful and remote beaches in the Mediterranean. With a long 2.5 kilometre stretch of white sand surrounded by towering cliffs, this hard to access beach is an exotic setting well worth the journey down the 325 steps! 1. These beaches look beautiful! I would love to venture to any one of them. The beauty and seclusion would be worth the time to get there, perfect photo opportunities as well. Then time for relaxing ;)

  2. For those visiting Mexico near Cancun do not pass the chance to visit Isla Holbox included in this list. It is truly a rare experience with no cars and pristine white sand beaches to enjoy. It is growing so get there while it is still wonderful.
