1. Médano Beach
The heart of the waterfront in Cabo San Lucas is Médano Beach (The Dune in Spanish). This wonderful stretch of sand extends for nearly 2 miles and is the best swimming beach in Los Cabos. Along Médano, youll find some of the areas best family-friendly resorts along with a host of stylish beach clubs and casual restaurants. While some of the beach cantinas can get pretty rowdy, there are a host of spots that are perfect for families. This is the place to rent a jet ski, go parasailing or simply stake out a spot on the sand to soak up the rays and watch the sailboats in the bay. The people-watching at this bustling beach is another highlight.
Hopping aboard a water taxi or glass-bottom boat is easy here. Take a cruise to see the iconic stone arch (El Arco) at Lands End, check out the abundant local marine life or visit nearby Lovers Beach. You can access Médano Beach from one of the beachfront resorts or eateries; take a taxi if youre staying further away parking is scarce.
