Photograph of the week: Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Chandler Borries says he has been to a lot of places around the world, but it’s hard to beat a Mississippi sunset. For him, this photo always brings back good memories of exploring the back bayous. It’s what sparked his adventurous lifestyle and the curiosity to see what else is out there. He took this photo in the back bayou of his hometown, Ocean Springs, Mississippi. In the distance, you can see the back bay and a bit further, the Gulf Of Mexico. Travelling and seeing the world couldn’t be better, but, as cliche as it sounds, there really is no place like home.

This really does win photograph of the week, what a fantastic view. The water looks so smooth and clear, it’s beautiful. I love that you can see for miles, there are absolutely no huge buildings in the way, just rows and rows of lovely trees. It’s true that there’s no place like home, you can really photograph your home town like nobody else can!
