Top 5 superyacht watersports toys

Chartering a yacht can provide the perfect opportunity for those with a love of water sports to get their adrenaline pumping and fully enjoy all that the ocean has to offer. Yacht charter provides an unforgettable experience and many superyachts come with an extensive series of water sports equipment that can be enjoyed under the supervision of a qualified crew and their Captain. Here’s our top five: Tender boats People are often surprised at how much equipment a yacht can hold and all boast at least one tender boat that is perfect if you are wishing to water ski, wake board or be pulled along on one of a number of inflatables, whether this be in the privacy of a bay or on a busy coastline. Tender boats are also ideal for transporting your guests to and from shore when your yacht is at anchor. Jet packs Jet packs have become increasingly popular in recent years and they can provide hours of entertainment whilst at sea. The jet packs are connected to the yacht’s jet ski and uses their water jet system, which is released through the jet pack by the user, pushing the pack up off the water to create a hover effect. Many guests are now also opting for fly boards to perform tricks and acrobatics. Dive and snorkel gear For those who want to explore under the sea as well as above the surface, yacht Captains can arrange diving in some of the best dive sites available, often with unique shipwrecks and underground caves to explore. Most yachts will come equipped with full snorkel equipment, allowing you to go out and explore what’s under the surface. Seabobs If you are looking for something a little different, you may want to jump on board an electronic Seabob to scoot around at high speeds in depths of up to 30meters, or enjoy a more leisurely sea scooter to propel you close to the surface. A Seabob is effectively a high-end electric underwater scooter that is designed to explore the surface of the sea and/or beneath it. They offer excellent handling and easy piloting making them accessible to all users. Jetskis One of the more popular water sports toys available, many yachts are now equipped with at least one jet ski for guests’ enjoyment and there is no better feeling than cruising around in crystal blue waters before speeding back to shore on board your own yacht for a rush of adrenalin. They are also great for those classic Instagram photographs! Geoff Moore is Managing Director at West Nautical. 1. I haven’t done many watersports, but the ones that I have done, I have loved so much. I’m not a sporty person, so I’ve been quite obsessed with the idea of watersports ever since – I’d love to get more involved someday. Diving has been the top of my bucket list since the first time I did it – it would be great to dive all around the world. A great list of activities!

  2. I definitely have a love of water sports, not entirely an adrenaline junkie though! Diving would be my go-to choice of water sports, or something like kayaking, these are such peaceful and fun activities. I can imagine that owning a yacht would make diving and snorkelling so much more fun and even easier to do.

  3. I’m not that into watersports, but my husband is. I’ve sent him over the link as I’m sure he’d love to try all these out. The jetskis look very fun though! I also really like snorkelling, such a great thing to do and way to see all the amazing marine life. I haven’t been diving yet as I’m too scared haha.
