Shrewd move from Kanika Hotels and resorts, just look at how successful the couples market has been for Sandals in the Caribbean.
They look to have got the quality time together formula right. Idyllic location, serene walks along the beach, top quality gastronomy and beautiful rooms with some classically inspired architecture.
The fact that you’re close to lively Paphos is a winner too.
I think that I might just forward this one to my boyfriend.
It is such a romantic location. Who knows he may even be prompted to propose? After all we have been together for 7 years.
Who knows what he might say on a sunset stroll along the Med?
Does the hotel have a spa? My wife is very keen on couples’ masssges and treatments. Although I am less enthusiastic about the experience it would make for a good anniversary present.
Yes, they have a spa…
Any more details available on the leisure facilities? The swimming pool looks great but what about a gym.
Although I’d take the Mediterranean diet options, plenty of fish and salad, I find that I still tend to eat more on this type of holiday. When the wine’s good there’s always a temptation to have an extra glass. There’s a danger of piling on the pounds if you don’t step up the exercise too.
Yes, there’s a health club (gym) also. I know what you mean, it can be difficult to motivate yourself on holiday sometimes when all you want to do is relax and enjoy some great food and wine. You have to be quite disciplined to stay in shape on holiday!
It’s good that every room has s sunset view.
I sometimes feel like a second-class citizen if I’m given a “City View” rather than a sea view. More and more hotels are being designed to give everybody a view.
This makes me wonder what the difference between a couples only and adults only hotel. Or is it just some type of marketing or branding? We haven’t been to an exclusive couples-only hotel, but this looks pretty similar to an adult only resort we went to in Italy.
I suspect that the travel industry has its official definition for Adults Only and Couples.
I’ve recently been to an Adults Only Hotel and one guest rather cruelly described it as “Butlins in the Tropics.” There was certainly non-stop entertainment and physical activities on offer, plus plenty of good-time party music playing.
Last year I went to a Couples Resort and guests seemed to spend more time together over lunch and quiet cocktails than high-fiving at the beach volleyball. Obviously there were more couples whilst at the Adults Only there seemed to be more groups, probably attracted by the idea of having fun together.
I can imagine how romantic our night will be if we stay here. No wonder couples say so much about Amavi. It’s all about luxury and intimacy that can only make honeymooners fall in love all over again. It will surely fill our nights with so much elegance and romance. I’d love to be here!
I get the spirit of the guy carrying the girl on his shoulders and I wish that I could do it. Sadly, after too much DIY on our “project” house my back ain’t what it used to be and my wife isn’t quite as sylph-like as she used to be. Though In a heartbeat I’d be here for a second honeymoon. The design of the hotel and its grounds is simply stunning.
This place is sheer class. It just exudes style and refinement.
Early on in a relationship it’s important that you get the hotel absolutely right. If you’re the guy making the decision there’s a lot of pressure. Your whole future together might depend on it.
I’d be happy and relaxed taking my lady here. I know that she’d appreciate it too.
How good does this place look in the cold and dark depths of the British winter? I need to block off a week so that my partner and I can fly off for some quality time together.
I’m a mum of three and I used to think hotels for couples only were not necessary, but now I think they are essential!
All parents need some ‘me time’, or rather ‘us time’ and this place looks beautiful.
Fingers crossed the grandparents can babysit next time we hit Europe and we can check it out for ourselves.
