  1. I don’t know if this awesome collection of properties were largely designed by Aussie architects but whoever draw up the plans should be proud of their work.

They may be a bit too radical for some people but I love the way most of these constructions bring something extra to the landscape.

    1. Hi Chris – most properties on this list are indeed designed by Australian architects and I couldn’t agree with you more…the homes are beautifully designed. Thanks, Mat :)

  2. Sydney is one of my favourite cities and I’ve even worked there for a few months. It has got so much to offer but I get it that sometimes you need to get away and recharge your batteries in one of these fabulous houses.

    1. Hi Helen – Sydney is a beautiful city…but also very very busy so these homes are perfect for that escape. How lucky that you’ve worked in Sydney, must have been amazing!

  3. You’ve gotta have a pool. Infinity pools are top of my wish-list every time. Not quite sure if these pools are really infinity pools but they’ve got great locations with stupendous views.

    1. In this part of Australia, a pool is a must! Not all these pools are infinity pools Andy, but, still pretty spectacular!

  4. For those of us in the U.K. it is a long, long haul to Australia even with a few days stopover. Inevitably you end up rushing round the cities. These fantastic houses would provide great bases to slow down a bit and savour the Aussie landscape and way of life. Also they would make for an enjoyable good break from hotel life,

    1. Hi Karen, it is such a long trip…but so worth it! And you’re right, most people tend to stay in the cities whereas the country side and coastal areas of NSW are just so beautiful and peaceful. A perfect way to relax after a long journey :)
