  1. Over the years I’ve done 6 of these experiences as I’m a real lover of India. Totally recommend India, especially to people who’ve never had the privilege of visiting this so very varied country.

  2. As a tea addict I’d love to go to a tea plantation to learn about the whole story of what goes on behind my cuppa.

  3. Travel isn’t always easy in India. If you’re a first timer it’s best not to be over adventurous. Places may look close together on a map, in reality if usually takes longer than you think. My tip is not to try to do too much on that first visit.

  4. There’s more to the Taj Mahal than the Taj Mahal. If you are lucky enough to visit make sure that you save some time to walk through to see the view across the river which is utterly beautiful.

  5. I was lucky enough to have a business trip to Agra and somehow I had a spare afternoon.

I thought of going along to the Taj Mahal then I remembered that picture of a forlorn Princess Diana sat alone with the Taj in the background.

In the best interests of my marriage I thought I ought to wait until I can visit with my wife.
