At the top of our list of recommendations is Benzina. This neighbourhood modern Italian Restaurant is located in Sant Antoni, serving up sophisticated Italian cuisine and an extensive list of creative cocktails to match. Our personal favourite dish would have to be the braised oxtail cannelloni, served with a scrumptious taleggio béchamel sauce, confit artichokes and mint. It is simply superb. Another shoutout must also go to Benzina’s dessert menu! With 5 innovative sweet creations, you are bound to find something divine to sink your teeth into. The rose tartlet, with rhubarb, sour cherries and lime meringue, for example, is the perfect way to end any meal!

Just 1 minutes walk from Mercat de la Boqueria, you will find the fabulous Bacaro. The setting is lovely; a cozy and welcoming space with warm ambient lighting. This restaurant, specialising in authentic Venetian cuisine with a modern touch, is truly worth a visit. Their menu is not long, but instead emphasises quality over quantity. Everything is fresh and homemade here. Simplicity with a touch of innovation, thats what we like! Be sure to enjoy their Italian wines on offer, too.
