The best casino outside of Las Vegas

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel has been named the winner in two categories in the 2023 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. First for the Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas, ranked No. 1 among fans nationwide; and Yaamava’s fine dining restaurant, The Pines Modern Steakhouse, was also voted the ‘Best Casino Restaurant’ this year.

San Manuel Gaming & Hospitality Authority’s Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, was also among the USA Today rankings. Palms’ A.Y.C.E Buffet was ranked fifth place for the Best Casino Restaurant in the United States, bringing in an additional win for the Tribe.

  1. There’s something magical about a casino when everything’s done well, win or lose it can be a great night out.

  2. When you think it through, to take the title of “The best casino outside Vegas” is some honour. There’s a helluva lot of casinos outside Vegas.

  3. That title, the best casino outside Las Vegas prompts a lot of questions. What criteria is the award judged on and does it help of the casino is part of a resort with all the bells and whistles. Not that I’ve been there but I would have expected Monte Carlo’s Casino to be in with a shout?

  4. Usually when I walk into a casino I get the feeling that even if I have a bad day on the tables the food’s going to make up for it.

    If only I was disciplined enough to focus on the culinary fare and not get drawn into the gambling!
