I did a Maldives resort about five years ago, total luxury in paradise but a bit frustrating. I knew that there was so much more out there. Having the freedom of a private yacht would be so liberating.

Yes, definitely. Discovering places on a yacht charter is much more rewarding. There are great yachts and itineraries withing various budgets and yachts, from fantastic catamarans to huge superyachts. On top of it, you have a professional crew to look after you and your family the entire time! Perhaps something to consider for your next holiday :)
There’s something very special about watching the world go by from your hammock. Nothing says relaxed tropical as much as hammock. Our hotel in Mauritius strung up hammocks between the palm trees on the shoreline and we spent hours there cooled by the breeze. Hanging out in a hammock on the deck as you cruise between Maldives islands must be even more of a special experience.
Probably a wild dream. A bunch of my mates are retiring this year and next. It really would be living the dream if we could take over a boat like this. Our “Pirates of the Indian Ocean” fantasy. A dream but a nightmare to get everyone together.
