All-business-class flights from Lufthansa

Lufthansa has begun flying all-business-class Boeing 737 flights between Frankfurt and Newark, arriving in the Big Apple at 11.20am local time. The planes have 44 “lie-flat” seats, power ports for notebooks, integrated reading lamps and generous tabletop areas. Passengers also get their choice of a dedicated limousine shuttle to and from Manhattan or a helicopter

Accor has acquired complete control of the German hotel group Dorint AG in which it previously had a 34% stake. Dorint has retained 41 hotels in a separate company but the deal means that Accor gains 52 hotels in Germany which it will re-brand under its Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure brands.
