Fazenda de Lagoa, Brazil
The 14-bungalow beach hotel by the name of Fazenda de Lagoa has just been opened by Rio-born artist Mucki Skowronski. Each bungalow is approximately 450 sq. feet and all rooms have decks with hammocks, gauze-netted beds and air-conditioning. There is also a Brazilian restaurant and spa.

New underwater hotel

The construction of a $500 million underwater hotel in Dubai will start in the first quarter of this year. According to Uwe Hohmann of the Crescent Hydropolis Group, the financing of the development is almost finalised. Hotel prices are rumoured to reach some $3,000 per night but have not yet been announced by the group.
