The second Travel+Leisure Design Awards recognise architecture and design from every facet of the traveller’s world – everything from hotels to travel accessories. In fact, there’s 15 categories and the winner of each is as follows:

Best Public Space: Terminal T4, Madrid Barajas International Airport
Best Small Hotel: BÃ¡sico, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
Best Large Hotel: Puerta América, Madrid
Best Travel Accessory (Shoe): Adidas To Go shoe
Best Museum: De Young, San Francisco
Best Cultural Space: Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Berlin
Best Travel Accessory (Packing System): Flight 001
Best Travel Accessory (Electronics): Apple iPod Nano
Best Restaurant: Mix, Las Vegas
Best Retail Space: Viktor & Rolf, Milan
Best Travel Accessory (Watch): Jacob & Co.’s The World is Yours
Best Resort: Amanbagh, Rajasthan, India
Best Spa: Como Shambhala Estate, Bali
Best Travel Accessory (Gadget): TUMI adaptor
Best Travel Accessory (Clothing): Allegri jacket
