India to get another luxury train

Luxury India trainA 120-passenger luxury train connecting Bangalore and Goa could be available as early as July next year. The route from Bangalore will pass Mysore, Hassan, Hospet, Gadag and Londa,  before completing its journey at Vasco in Goa. The 18-compartment train, designed by Mumbai-based Pendse and Associates,  will have 11 compartments for passengers with multi-cuisine restaurant, a gymnasium, health club, massage parlours, internet centre and audiovisual facility for entertainment.   This will be the third luxury train in the country,  following in the footsteps of  Palace on Wheels and Deccan Odyssey.

    1. The ‘Fairy Queen’ is another great train trip in India. It’s not quite in the same class as some of the most luxurious trains, of course, but it’s certainly a big step up from the usual.

      The ‘Fairy Queen’ is the oldest working steam locomotive in the world and is a great experience. Highly recommended if you get the chance!

    2. I’m interested in authentic delicious mindblowingly delicious Indian food but I don’t want the discomfort especially the heat.
