Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa is already open(March 2009) ! Guess it’ll be very popular.

  3. I went to Boracay in 2010, stayed at Station 1, most peaceful part of the island. Boracay is being destroyed with all the luxurious and not that really hotels, bars, pubs and so on.

I found a story somewhere on the next that the Island was basically discovered by a German traveler in the end of 1970s. Still, in the end of 80s as story told few self-travelers who went to Boracay had to take own food, water and tents as there was nothing, only white sand beach and crystal clear water.

Those were times of real Boracay!
