Top 10 hotel bars in the United States

You would think that all the possible ‘top 10’ lists out there have been exhausted by now. But no, MSN have managed to come up with a new one… the top 10 hotel bars in the US. We’re told that the pool is the new “hot spot” at US hotels. Whether you’re looking for a pool with a bar you can swim up to, or somewhere where you can have a poolside massage, you’re sure to find something to fit the bill in their latest top 10. In alphabetical order, we have:
- Grand Wailea, Maui (with its Wailea Canyon Activity Pool)
- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas (for blackjack in your swimming gear!)
- The Hotel, Miami (a rooftop pool and their own personal favourite)
- Hotel Gansevoort, New York (a brand new hotel)
- The Raleigh, Miami (“the most stunning pool in Miami Beach”)
- Sky Hotel, Aspen (with stunning views from the 39 Degrees poolside bar)
- The Standard, Los Angeles (a hip outdoor pool on Sunset Boulevard)
- W Hotel, San Diego (the best pool and beach scene in San Diego)
I bet that CHERRY at the Red Rock in Las Vegas makes it onto next years list. It seems to be everywhere these days – and includes part of the pool.
Thanks for the tip off, Courtney… here’s the link should anyone wish to look it up: http://www.redrocklasvegas.com

This is an awesome list of bars. The only one I have been to is The Hotel in Miami. So I guess I’m 1 down 9 to go.
