New Royal Bath spa re-opens

A historical health spa has re-opened 28 years after the last person bathed in Bath’s natural thermal waters. The New Royal Bath spa on the aptly-named Hot Bath Street in the Roman city of Bath in south-west England has an eye-catching, open-air, rooftop pool, from which bathers are able to gaze out to the skyline and green hills, which surround Bath. It has adopted a modern design and has used natural energy conservation throughout… even the underfloor heating is fuelled by the natural thermal water. Thanks to spalinks for the heads-up on this one.
I can recommend it and Bath is probably the second most picturesque city in Britain. After Edinburgh of course.
Bath is one of the best for a weekend break, loads to see (and great shops too!) Husband didn’t fancy the spa when we went but it looks so lovely, need to go back on a girlie break!
