Saadiyat Island, a residential and tourism real estate development just 500m offshore from Abu Dhabi, is to get a five star Rotana Resort. The luxury Rotana Resort Saadiyat Beach will have a 400-450 room upscale hotel, a private stretch of beach, a variety of restaurants, meeting and conference facilities, a spa and a fully equipped Bodylines Health & Fitness Club. It will be owned by Nasser Al Nowais (one of Rotana’s founders) and family.
I’m sure it’s going to be very swish. But it’s a long way from opening. Indeed Saadiyat is years from being developed and actualy being something people would want to visit – when it’s finished off course, with the Guggenheim and Louvre and all those other wonderful museums it will be amazing. It would be helpful to mention that here.
