According to Forbes, it’s the beaches of India that are nowadays “seeing all the action”, not those of Ibiza or Australia. The country has thousands of miles of shoreline which has become increasingly popular with tourists in recent years. And their pick of the bunch? Forbes identify 8 as ‘exceptional’:

Where else could have been the best beach of India situated, if not at Andaman and Nicobar Islands? I’ve experience of staying at Port Blair for almost three years between 1995-1998 and I can really vouch for it.
