Gordon Ramsay now has as many Michelin stars as Alain Ducasse

Gordon RamsayNot only  was Gordon Ramsay’s new restaurant at The London NYC announced as ‘Best Newcomer’ in the city’s newly published Zagat guide last week, but it also debuted  with two Michelin stars just days earlier. This means that Ramsay, across all his restaurants,  now has the same number of Michelin stars as Alain Ducasse.

Had a fabulous meal in the London in New York a couple of months ago. It was excellent and a great location and setting. Loved everything.

Gordon Ramsay lost some of his top rankings last month amid criticisms from those in the industry who said he was spreading himself too thinly. Given the amount of time he spends on the telly and doing other things it’s amazing he ever has time to even visit any of his numerous restaurants around the world. Plus, according to Australia’s version of Gourmet Traveller magazine, he’s in the process of setting up another in Melbourne.
