Lashings World Cricket XI at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi

The proposed Autumn cricket festival in the grounds of the Emirates Palace Hotel featuring the world’s premier club cricket team, “Lashings World Cricket XI“, has been confirmed  for 24th  to 29th February 2008. The inaugural Lashings World Cricket XI Cricket Festival  will  enhance the status of Abu Dhabi as an innovator in the field of sporting events. A strong and experienced provisional squad will be captained by Richie Richardson (WI), and include the likes of Greg Blewett (AUS), Graeme Hick (ENG) and wicketkeeper Rashid Latif (PAK). Etihad Airways has already confirmed their involvement as a major sponsor for the Festival. ITC Classics  is offering 7 nights in a Coral Room at the hotel on a bed & breakfast basis from £1,390pp. Price includes economy flights from London Heathrow with Etihad and private transfers.
