Will Trump get his way in Scotland?

Donald Trump was in Aberdeen, Scotland, today for the beginning of the month-long public enquiry into what has been billed as “the world’s greatest golf course”, a proposed project that includes a luxury hotel and much more, and has been discussed on this blog previously.     His plans for a course in the home of golf have been met with  significant opposition. Today he faced a mild-mannered town planner hired by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, as well as the head of the Ramblers’ Assocation of Scotland.   Concerns about the dunes in the area are high on the agenda.   Watch this space for future developments.
