  1. I stayed at the Centara last October and it was just perfect. Big building with nice staff, excellent facilities and big rooms overlooking the city impressive views. There is a restaurant on the top terrace worth visiting, with breath-taking views too. And the pool is on the mid level of the building! really a nice option for a cool chic stay in Bangkok.

  2. We stayed in the Centara for one night a few months ago. It’s a nice place and very convenient for Bangkok’s upmarket shopping area. But I’d not go further than saying it’s OK.

We chose it for its convenient location near the huge shopping mall nearby, but it wasn’t actually all that convenient as you go up in one lift to the hotel reception area, then have to hoof it to another lift to your room with all your shopping.

The staff are very friendly and efficient, so no problems there. I don’t have any problems with this hotel and it’s in a very convenient location. But I wouldn’t bother staying there again.

The room was terribly poky and you had to pay extra for every little service. Nah, I definitely wouldn’t go back.

  3. I was going to stay here, but the service at the Conrad is so phenomenal in Bangkok that I just cant imagine to stay anywhere else.

  4. I’ve never stayed at the Conrad (never even heard of it). My top choice of hotel in Bangkok would be the lebua at State Tower.

  5. The conrad bangkok is a hilton hotel, and the GM and staff are excellent. Highly recommended!

  6. The Bangkok Hilton? We stayed at the Hilton a few years back – the one near Wireless Road. The rooms were terribly poky. But no doubt better than the other famous Bangkok Hilton. :-)

  7. Conrad is one of hiltons more upmarket brands. i would certainly recommend their hotels as they are always fabulous.

the conrad on hong kong island at pacific place is great – very central and also if you like shopping attached to the pacific place mall and a quick walk from the peak tram station and the star ferry.
