Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is investing 50 million Swiss Francs in a wellness centre upgrade. The first phase, ready by August 2009, includes a new wet zone, two saunas of different temperature, mist room, ice room, and renovated oval pool with new swim-up bar. Photographs can be viewed on Flickr. The following two phases will include a restaurant, Kids ¹ Club, treatment rooms and changing rooms. The indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and outdoor patio are in full swing over the summer.
Wow, Beautiful photos. I love when hotels use Flickr or some kind of social photo sharing site. It is always the first place I look. You have to wonder though, if people will choose a hotel for the wellness center. 50 million francs is not pocket change.
I agree, Flickr is something that hotels can use to promote their facilities effectively. If you have it, flaunt it! I love how the pool looks just like a sheet of glass. There’s something very placid yet sensual about indoor pools like these.
By the way Paul, when are you announcing winners?
