  1. It makes me mad for Congress to waste our taxpayer money especially for luxury items for themselves. We are in times of economic distress. Those jokers in Congress are supposed to be our representatives, but they are spending our money on luxury junket jets for themselves while so many of us are out of work and struggling to make ends meet. Our children’s children will be paying off our country’s debts. It is not right.

  2. Well, this is by no means anything new. In times of crisis I totally disagree what Mr. and Mrs. Obama are also spending, right from the start, big time expensive rent just before he took over, big time expensive dresses for Mrs. and on and on. Goverment is not producing anything; they shuold not be spending our money on luxuries, if they can afford it with their salaries, fine. This Country will never get out of debt if they keep going like this.

  3. Hi! This is the first time that I’ve EVER left a comment on a website! All I can say is this: I didn’t like it when (Fox News) first broke the story a while ago, and I STILL don’t like it!! Congress is being VERY hypocritical in proposing this purchase; if they scorned the Big 3 automakers for flying to their hearings in corporate jets, what makes them think it’s OK to turn around and do the same thing, using TAXPAYER money no less! Shame on Capitol Hill! Thanks for letting me vent! Sincerely, Kristi T.
