I enjoy reading about adventure travel throughout the world, this is definitely one that should be featured more.
There are so many great resorts in queeensland and it is so easy to combine a trip to the great barrier reef with a visit to the rainforest two completely different environments but so close together.
There are lots more reef and rainforest experiences to be had further north. The Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland is the world’s oldest continuously surviving rainforest and it feels really remote and untouched. Combine it with a trip to the reef on a luxury sailboat (eg. Aquarius from Port Douglas) and you will be very happy!
