There is no way that I would put Sedona, AZ as #1. Instead of the destinations, I would prefer to have ranked actual spa locations.
On the contrary, Arizona is well known for Spa’s. Having been lucky enough to visit 3 Spa locations in this state, I can certainly vouch for their place on this list.
i was surprised to see arizona up there in the top spot when talking spas it would never have sprung to my mind. nice to Bath up there, the city really seems to be pushing the spa angle since the thermae bath spa opened a few years ago.
I agree that the Spa’s in Arenal, Costa Rica are some of the best i have ever been to. The natural hot springs along with the views of the volcano at night are incredible. Great list.

Bora Bora just sounds luxurious without even knowing anything about it!
Well it has to have bath on the list. I have been twice and would go back again.
I would say that Sedona, AZ, USA. Ubud, Indonesia and Arenal Volcano National Park, Costa Rica are very nice places for spas. In addition to that, these places are just beautiful.
Italy is missing ! Tuscany boasts such beautiful natural spa resorts like Fonteverde or Bagni di Pisa ..
I have been wanting to visit a place like this for a long time. these destinations look amazing, I am particularly interested in Bora Bora and playa mujeres.
