  1. Fab prize – one of my favourite Hilton hotels in london is the hilton kensington great location, very close to westfield, tubes and buses and much quieter than its sister hotel hilton olympia, also fairly reasonably priced.

  2. For the most part Hilton is a dependable Hotel chain. Most Hilton Hotels have excellent recreational facilities and the kids eat free offer is excellent for families. I have stayed in several Hilton Hotels in the UK and overseas and on the rare occassion I had cause to raise an issue, it was promptly resolved. Good luck to all entrants of this competition!

  3. Good luck to all participants! It is indeed a fab prize. The only Hilton I’ve ever stayed in is the one which is very near the British Embassy in Bangkok.

  4. not stayed in many hiltons but always been treated well when I have. the one in dunkeld has a lovely riverside setting

  5. I’ve been luck enought to stay in a few over the years all round the world, one that is also quite good is the Hilton on 6th Avenue and 54th in New York, its in a great location close to 5th, broadway, times square, central park and so many fab restaurants close by. one of my favourites is Abbocato it is on i think 55th definitely between 6th and 7th, i have a homing beacon to get me there. it is a fabulous italian up there with some of the great restaurants in italy. it also does amazing cocktails a great accompaniment to any meal.

  6. Hilton hotels are lovely. I have stayed in some London ones and always found them to be of high quality and excellent service.

  7. Got to agree Kay i love eating out in new york the problem for me is there is never enough meals for all the places i want to eat in!

  8. Hilton hotels are a trusted brand and offer good quality service. have stayed in a number of them over the years. Always looking to review and keep by view fresh! Would like a bit of luck, was recently caught up in a booking mistake with one of the biggest hotel chains in the world and was stung for 450 pounds due to a booking error! So hopefully my luck will be in!

  9. One of my favorite Hiltons is the new Bonnet Creek in Orlando. What a magnificent property! Every detail was so well thought…can’t wait to go back!

  10. Had a fabulous weekend stay at the Hilton Hotel in Brighton – superb spa facilities and excellent quality of food. Service impeccable. Would definitely recommend.

  11. Hilton are a great brand. They also team up with a lot of frequent flier schemes, so you can earn miles for staying there to spend on flights.

  12. I’ve got to agree with Matt re the Hilton rewards programme i always love how you can double dip with them and get both hilton points towards accomodation and fequent flyer points towards your airline of choice – a very generous programme.

  13. Emily, the Hilton you are hoping to stay at in Edinburgh is a lovely hotel. I stayed there a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed my break! If you win I hope you really enjoy your stay!

  14. Oooh I am spending this already :) Would love to go to the Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro hotel as ihave never been to Scotland and this hotel sounds goreous

  15. Hi Karen

The Dunblane Hydro is a really nice property set in a beautiful location and the scenary is fabulous a real getaway and only 15 /20mins to stirling and not far to either glasgow or edinburgh as well. i hope you get there.

  16. Thanks Aurora, it looks lovely and I’m definitely heading to Edinburgh this year either way! Is it easy to get into the city centre from the hotel?

  17. Hi Karen,

I too can vouch for Dunblane Hydro, I stayed there while up there for work at Gleneagles (sadly didn’t get to stay at Gleneagles ha ha!) But this hotel was lovely too. Your up on a hill so get a really nice view in the morning, lovely rooms, everything spotless and a great breakfast! (There is a leisure centre you can use too with swimming pool which is great)

  18. Emily

its walkable to the city centre you are not far away from princes square and the castle – if you can you should try and go around festival time there is a great atmosphere in the city and loads of things to go and see. either way edinburgh is a beautiful city – enjoy.

  19. Thanks Irene, I was thinking of taking our daughter with us so was a bit worried the festival would be too busy for her (she is just a toddler!) Think maybe best to go at a quieter time, see the sites and maybe even treat her to a trip to the zoo. Would love to go to the festival though so in a few years time…

  20. Its my partner and my 10 year anniversary of the start of our relationship. However we are going through a sticky patch :( the kids and work take all our energy, and as we struggle like many to keep ends met, we have no money and lack of time to have quality time as a couple. I would love to win this prize. To book a night away on our own would be the best gift to help our relationship…going to the hilton would make it even better!!

  21. These vouchers would be amazing to win, im sad that ive only discoved this competition as it is about to end as I dont think I could possibly make enough comments to win in the few hours remaining :-(

  22. I cant wait to go on holiday this year, we havent had a break for over 2 years due to lack of spare cash so this year will be so special x

  23. Hi Emily

I am waiting to hear back from the PR company working for Hilton that we are liaising with, to find out whether they want to contact the winners themselves directly, or whether they want me to contact them, and tell them what they need to do to claim the prize. No reply as yet, but have chased them again.

Hopefully the winners will hear from someone soon…

    Paul

  24. Congratulations to our winners, Irene and Emily. Your details have passed on to the PR company working for Hilton and they will hopefully have the vouchers in the post to you shortly.

Well done, and thank you to everyone who took part.

  25. Thanks so much I’m over the moon! :) Well done Irene I really enjoyed all your comments, looks like I’m off to Edinburgh hurray!
