Photograph of the week: A remote African paradise

Built on stilts in the crystal clear waters of the warm Indian Ocean amongst the mangroves, this eco-paradise is home to flocks of flamingos, tropical fish and the very rare Dugong with sunsets nothing less that breath-taking. Flamingo Bay prides itself in having an undisturbed eco-setting that is peaceful and pristine complete with a wellness hub, gym and business centre allowing you all the creature comforts in this remote African paradise. Just over an hour’s flight from Johannesburg, transport will collect you from the airport and be at the lodge in less than 2 hours from Johannesburg. Thank you to Carrie Boshoff and Barra Resorts Mozambique for permission to re-produce the image. If you have a really special photograph you would like to share with  A Luxury Travel Blog‘s readers, please contact us.
