Life is about the journey…

This video from Trans Maldivian Airways shows the true beauty of the Maldives. The company pioneered the use of aircraft to transport tourists to island based resorts. In doing so, it has made a significant contribution to the development of tourism to the Maldives, which in turn has resulted in major benefits to the national economy. Founded in 1989, TMA operated a strictly helicopter fleet of aircraft until the introduction of the first seaplanes in 1997. TMA now operates 23 Twin Otters, three of them brand new DHC-6-400 type, from its own Sea Plane Terminal at Male` International Airport with 9 exclusive Resort Lounges and a fleet of air-conditioned buses and baggage vehicles for intra-airport transfers.
