The world’s longest high speed rail line is the Beijing-Guangzhou rail route which opened last month. Now you can experience the speed and luxury of a Chinese bullet train, at speeds of 300 kilometres per hour. This is the equivalent of 80 metres every second and had a reduced a journey that once took 22 hours to now just 8. The video shows footage from a journalist trip made just prior to the official opening.
