If you ever think you’ve cooked for a big party, think again. Spare a thought for the Camogli Fish Festival where, throughout the day, freshly caught fish are cooked in the largest fish frying pan in the world at five metres wide with a seven metre handle. Fishermen abandon their day jobs for the festival and cook their fresh catch for visitors and locals. The deliciously cooked fish is then handed out for free so visitors must be sure to get a good spot!
This year the event will be held on 13th May 2013.
That is such an amazing picture – I would love to see it when full of fish. Puts another perspective on the fish supper!
