Less than 2 months ago, we reported that we’d reached 10,000 likes on Facebook and set ourselves what we thought was an ambitious goal of reaching a new milestone of 20,000 likes in just 200 days. I’m now pleased to report that we’ve done it in a fraction of that time and acquired the additional 10,000 likes in just 57 days… in almost one quarter of the time!
We’ve been working tirelessly on being more active with the page, and getting our audience more engaged, which ultimately should be good news for the blog as a whole. As a result, a much higher proportion of the page’s fans are engaged now – more than 10,000 at the time of writing.
So, if we can achieve 10,000 likes every two months, we’re going to need to set our targets a little higher! The new aim now is to achieve a further 30,000 likes in just 6 months – so a total of 50,000 likes by the beginning of November – and to reach the grand total of 100,000 by the beginning of September 2014.
It’s a big ask, but we’re a determined sort, so watch this space!

Congratulations. In my experience across several pages you will struggle through those first few milestones and after that it seems to go by a lot faster. 20k is a great milestone to reach!
