The stylish and spirited beauty of Barcelona, Prague and New York

Spring, Summer, and Fall. Each is beautiful in its own right, and all seem to be a time when a longing for traveling abroad emerges, wanderlust is rekindled, and a yearning grows to awaken in those places that have been but a dream. To sate your desire to roam, StyleHotels recommends three of the world’s most stylish and exciting cities: Barcelona, Prague, and New York. Cosmopolitan Barcelona There’s something electrifying about Barcelona. Could be the electric blue of the seaside. The buzz of the city’s hip restaurants and clubs. The crackle of its booming hi-tech and bio-med (little wonder that the Feria BioCultura, the most important organic-inspired fair in all of Spain rolls into town May 8th-11th). It’s a cosmopolitan city in every sense of the word, where world-class dining, amazing architecture, and a landscape of flawless beaches and lofty mountains simply entrance. Barcelona During the spring and summer months, superb Barcelona hotel deals let you experience the city in style. Two properties in particular offer great hotel deals in Barcelona. The boutique hotel España, a jewel among the city’s hotels, boasts old-world glamour touched by new-day allure. The Condes de Barcelona Hotel occupies two former 19th-century grand palaces and blends stunning architecture with the art of service. When looking for the best Barcelona hotel offers or superb seasonal Barcelona hotels deals, both of these properties are certain to please. The many pleasures of Prague Prague may be known as the City of 100 Spires, but that moniker, beautiful as it is, belies all that makes this city so spectacular. While the spires invite you to look up, take time to look around at a landscape that’s nothing short of enchanting. Hidden courtyards and cafes. Lazy rivers and alluring art galleries. Glimmering castles and cobblestone streets. Sure, there’s plenty of old-world beauty here, but there’s also a sense of modern-day enthusiasm that attracts world-class events like the Volkswagen Prague Marathon (May 10th-May11th), considered one of the most beautiful and international marathons with over 9,500 runners from 91 countries. Prague sunrise Great Prague hotel deals? You’ll find those here as well. Three of the city’s most unique properties offer not-to-be-missed hotel deals in Prague. At the 5-star Aria Hotel Prague, all of the suites and rooms are designed around a particular artist, composer, or style of music, from the symphonies of Mozart to the sizzle of Billie Holiday. Exceptional Prague hotel offers are also to be had at Pure White Hotel. This hotel, conveniently close to Wencelas Square and the city’s historical center, boasts a unique, fresh style with the color white as its focal point. Nestled within a former baroque palace is the Kempinski Hotel Hybernska. This luxury hotel in Prague boasts premier attractions within walking distance, including the Powder Tower, the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock, and the Charles Bridge. When it comes to hotel deals, you’ll find that Prague boasts a world of choice in the finest of accommodations. Wondrous New York New York City catches your eye like a twinkling jewel. You don’t know quite where to look first, but you feel like you want to see everything all at once. Glance upward, and the city’s iconic buildings rise skyward, speckled by the sun. Look about, and the wondrous whirl of the city surrounds you. The Broadway theatres. The incomparable restaurants. Central Park, the Chrysler Building, and Carnegie Hall. And, of course, the fabulous Fashion District where new looks are envisioned, and new trends dreamed. Fashion is part of the city’s fabric, never more so than during its world-renowned New York Fashion Week (you can catch New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 from 4th to 11th September). Gansevoort Park Avenue New York Visit the city in Autumn and you can take advantage of great New York hotel deals. 1. Three fabulous cities, Paul, and perfect to put a spring in your step, as they are all inspirational in their own ways. I am curious about what your favourite city is in (a) the world and (b) Europe? :)

  2. Ooooh… that’s a tough one. I think Barcelona would have to be up there somewhere. I love Florence, too, but haven’t been for a while now.

    What about you? :)

  3. Those are wonderful places to visit, I would love to travel to Prague and those are wonderful hotel upgrades to tempt me.

  4. When I first started reading this I thought that Style Hotels maybe had a few luxury hotels here and there, few and far between. But then I clicked on their link and found out that it was not the case. I checked on Italy, and found they had hotels all over, including 32 in Florence alone, in different price ranges. So they are a viable option for future travels.

And by the way, Florence is my favorite city at this time but there are so any that I haven’t been to yet, so that could change.

  5. Barcelona is high on my wish list and the other two cities aren’t far behind. Even though I’ve been to Prague before, I’d dearly love to go back again. It was a long time ago and I believe it is far more touristy now but I’m sure it is still a wonderful place to visit.

  6. Great post. I feel New York has a different vibe in the winter than it does in summer and spring. I recently got back from a trip around North America and spent a bit of time in New York and it was great. I’ll be knocking off Barcelona and Prague off my bucket list in July this year ;)

  7. I have nothing but positive things to say about New York City so of course my comment is going to focus on the ultimate 24 hour city of the world. There is so much to do and see there and I can’t imagine how anyone could ever get tired of such a place. You have such distinct locations such as Times Square and Central Park whilst the infamous skscrapers of the Chrysler Building and Empire State stand tall along the most famous skyline in the world.

A place I always love to revisit and just a quick comment on the other cities….whenever I visit those, if I feel half the way I do about NYC, then I am sure I will have an amazing experience in them both.

  8. Good post on Prague. The Kempinski is a great hotel, as is Mandarin Oriental and the Augustine. In terms of international events, another wonderful one is the Prague Spring International Music Festival, which started this evening.
