Top 5 must-do things in the Maldives

The Maldives is renowned for being a tropical paradise and is a popular choice when it comes to honeymoon destinations. But what is there to do there? Well you can either simply soak up the stunning surroundings of pure white sands, crystal clear waters and swaying palms doing absolutely nothing, or immerse in the many things the Maldives has to offer. The Maldives has 26 atolls, and consists of 1,192 islands. Of these islands, 192 are inhabited with plenty still to discover. Here are a few ideas on what things to do when in the Maldives. Seaplane arrival Arrive in style on your chosen Maldives resort via seaplane. There is nothing quite like a seaplane journey, from taking off to landing on tropical paradise. Gain an unparalleled view of the Maldives from sky high, flying over stunning islands and crystal clear lagoons. If you are lucky you might even see various species of fish swimming around in their natural environment. Make sure you grab a window seat for the best views on the seaplane. 1. This is such a comprehensive and useful post! My travels in the Maldives went a little differently though, not exactly luxurious, but I spent a week in the country’s southernmost atoll (Addu, below the equator), biking on causeways to go across islands and snorkelling over the most gorgeous reefs in the middle of the ocean! Would love to guest post on your blog about it.

  2. Wow, this is so amazing! We’re planning to spend the holidays this December in Maldives. Great tips! I’ll take note of these. :)

  3. Great tips…very beautiful pictures. I had not thought of sea planes..but after reading this..I am definitely going to update my todo buckets for maldives

  4. Nice Article, there are so many uncommon activities to experience in Maldives . I will just add the Robinson Crusoe experience, alone on a deserted island for 24hrs. Just you and the one you love, a luxury bungalow, some food and drinks , the beach, the sea, the sky … perfect
And also a private cruise on board a luxury traditional Maldivian vessel. This a fantastic experience for a group of friends or family members. With a cruise you will explore the real Maldives, you will see so many amazing landscapes and tourists free snorkeling or diving spots. This is a real luxury experience to be shared with the one you love.
