4 ways to experience farm-to-table Los Cabos

When most visitors think of Los Cabos, Mexico, what comes to mind are wide sun-swept beaches, the aquamarine hues of the Sea of Cortez and the striking contrast of the desert landscape. However, the region is home to a thriving organic farming community. A number of local dining establishments are notable for their commitment to farm-to-table cuisine, with a focus on using local, sustainable ingredients in their creative menus. Here are 4 ways to experience the organic scene in Cabo:

1. Farmers’ markets

There are several excellent farmer’s markets in Los Cabos. One of the oldest and most respected is the San José Mercado Organico. Along with an abundance of in-season organic produce, you’ll find many local vendors offering their products including jewelry, baskets and more. Plus, you’ll often get to enjoy live music in this lively and family-friendly atmosphere.
