Video of the week: Travel more and buy less

We live in a world of consumption. Before you buy your next item for your “man cave” or “she shed”, think again. Adventure and exploration is the best way to learn and expand your horizons. The idea here is simple and enlightening, that one should have a passport full of stamps rather than a house full of stuff. Travel more. Buy less.

  1. There’s some problems with a passport full of stamps.

Firstly, your passport is just becoming a real global work of art, though not every country is generous enough to give you a stamp, then it is time to get a horrible clean, new, empty and characterless passport that has no stories to tell.

Secondly, the more stamps you have the more chance you have of your electronic seal recognition being destroyed. It is just too expensive to replace them because of some hammer fisted border official.

But otherwise no problem with the experiences.
