    1. It’s a wonderful city, Tamara, and the surrounding countryside is well worth exploring also. We did a great trip from Geneva to Evian, across to Lausanne, and back to Geneva, a few years back, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

  1. Now that would be a great way to start 2018! Switzerland is gorgeous, but admittedly I’ve spent more time in the Alps than in cities like Geneva. I’d love to visit and explore the city. Fingers crossed I’ve got the winning entry!

    1. Ditto, Jackie – I’ve spent more time in the Swiss Alps also, but cities such as Geneva are worthy of a visit in their own right. Good luck! :)

  2. Yes please! I have only been to Interlaken and that was YEARS ago! I would love to win a trip to Geneva to get back over there and see more of Switzerland. Fingers crossed!

  3. What a great contest, and a perfect way to start the year! I haven’t been to Switzerland in years, and would love to spend time exploring Geneva – and then relaxing with a massage!

  4. Geneva is the most cosmopolitan city in Switzerland. Who wouldn’t love to spend a dream holiday there?! After discovering all the great things to see and do, it’s a great jumping off point for visiting the rest of the country too.

  5. I’ve been to Switzerland several times but haven’t spent any time in Geneva. It looks like it would be a great place to explore and a little more urban. Besides, can’t go wrong when fondue and chocolate making are in the mix!

  6. I’ve only been to Lucerne in Switzerland, but this giveaway seems like a great reason to get back and explore Geneva! Thanks for letting us know!

  7. I haven’t been to Geneva for 10 years now, so it would be wonderful to head back. Thanks for the opportunity!

  8. I’d love to find a few welcoming enclaves to explore. I’d take my time and root around for hours. I have tossed off a bridge in Basel and been cottaging in St. Moritz but never quite found paradise. Maybe Geneva will satisfy my requirements- Hopefully I will come!

  9. A trip of a lifetime- fab prize. Geneva looks an interesting cosmopolitan city. My husband would love it.

  10. I could do with this. Not had a break for well over 2 years and never been to Switzerland. I would look at taking a self-drive onward from Geneva to see more of the country. Oh well, I can but dream, but one day.

  11. Luxury indulgence – a whole New place to explore – would be a dream trip
Have been to Switzerland several times but not had the pleasure.of experiencing the delights and customs of GENEVA

  12. As it is nearly November I guess that I’v the competition and didn’t win. But Geneva’s always a winner. The Swiss have a great saying, “I’m on time so I’m already late.” For me that saying sums up their impeccable efficiency and customer service. And the Geneva Air is so clean and healthy.

Though my top tip for Geneva is to take the tram to Carouge. It’s where the Geneva folk used to go to let their hair down. Today it’s full of quirky independent shops. Great place for Xmas shopping.
