There is really no better way to vacation that aboard a boat! Staying away from over-crowded areas just cannot be beat. Really enjoying the photos and suggestions from this story. Definitely inspires vacation envy!
This is exactly what I’m planning – a yacht charter – when the pandemic is over. It’s so much easier to have controls on social distancing. We’ve done the Greek islands many times before but will be looking at Croatia for our next trip.
I think this is the only way I can think of to travel with social distancing in effect. The only problem I have is getting to these places that offer chartered sailings or boat rentals for private sailings. With international borders still closed, and I think it will still be for a couple of months more, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy these yacht vacations just yet. It is exciting to have options like these considering our new normal is social distancing.
