May be I got the wrong sort of education. I had heard of Hernan Cortez the Spanish Conquistador who explored and exploited the New World.
Though I hadn’t heard of the Sea of Cortez. Putting 2 and 2 together I guess it was named after Cortez. That’s a part of the world I’ve never visited.
As Cousteau called it the world’s aquarium it’s now on my bucket list.
Diving and water sports in this area are simply sublime, definitely a prime spot for a relaxing getaway! By yacht is an incredible way to explore and uncover plenty of regional treasures.

Never had my deep-sea fishing moment strapped into a chair and reeling in a marlin. The Sea of Cortez could be the place to do it.
