How to explore Morocco in style
As record numbers of tourists flock to Morocco, it’s still possible to discover the country’s rich culture, historic kasbahs and vibrant traditions in a way that evades the chaos of mass tourism. If you’ve ever dreamed of meandering the medinas of Marrakech or sleeping under the stars of the Sahara, look no further than Morocco Tours for the most stylish and memorable of experiences. Here are four reasons to entrust them with booking your next trip to Morocco, and one that offers unmatched luxury, safety and support.
Custom-designed, private trips
One-size-fits-all travel just doesn’t do justice to a destination as unique as Morocco. That’s why with Morocco Tours each private trip is custom-designed and tailored specifically to your timeline and preferences. Imagine a unique itinerary that has been crafted just for you, whether your interests like in Morocco’s culinary delights, or whether you’d sooner get lost in bustling souks, venture into the Atlas Mountains or relax on the coast.
Your trip will be carefully curated to reflect your passions and preferences. So, if you’re a history enthusiast, you might like to explore Morocco’s UNESCO sites, such as the Roman ruins of Volubilis. If art and architecture is more your thing, then you’ll no doubt love to see the intricate tile work of centuries-old mosques and palaces. If food is your passion, experiencing Morocco cuisine will be high on your agenda.
Handpicked luxury riads
No journey through Morocco would be complete without a stay in one of its famous boutique riads. These intimate, traditional hotels are the very essence of Moroccan charm and hospitality, and the riads chosen personally by the Morocco Tours team will provide you with more than just a place to sleep.
Hand-selected by experts, these luxurious riads not only combine elegance and comfort, but provide a true immersion into Moroccan life, offering a warm, personal touch that mass-market hotels simply can’t match. And each riad maintains an authentic feel of Moroccan architecture and design, despite being equipped with all modern amenities. Each one is unique too – you could find yourself relaxing in a hidden garden, sipping tea on a sunlit terrace, or dining in a candlelit courtyard.
24/7 emergency support by Americans on the ground
When you travel, peace of mind is paramount and perhaps one of the greatest assets of Morocco Tours is its 24/7 on-the-ground support provided by Americans who have lived all over Morocco and know the country and customs well. This expert help is available any time you need it and is something that really sets the company’s offering apart.
Perhaps you’re after restaurant recomnendations, or need help handling some travel logistics? With ground support, you enjoy an additional layer of comfort and convenience, not to mention re-assurance, and will benefit from a deeper understanding of both Moroccan culture and Western expectations.
Handpicked, English-speaking drivers
With Morocco Tours, you get more than just a sightseeing trip. With their carefully-chosen English-speaking drivers, you’ll gain a much greater appreciation of Morocco and its customs, whether you’re drinking tea with the locals or visiting Berber villages in the mountains.
Each driver has been handpicked for their expertise and commitment to guest satisfaction, and will be able to suggest unique stops and experiences. Their carefully-planned itineraries will take you beyond the crowds and introduce you to local artisans. Perhaps you will learn the art of Moroccan bread baking in a local family’s home or watch skilled weavers at work in a small village. All this and more is made possible due to the quality of the drivers that have been selected.
So, if you’re ready to experience Morocco with all the style and comfort of a carefully-curated, custom tour, in the hands of trusted professionals, it’s time to start planning. Let the adventure of a lifetime await you in the unforgettable landscapes, traditions, and warm hospitality of Morocco.

Long ago, I explored Morocco as a backpacker. Sometimes it was exhilarating and sometimes it was quite strange.
It’s a very different culture to what we’re used to and I’d like to go back now and do it in more style. With more support I think I’d get a lot more out of the country.
Hi Ben – I would definitely recommned it. I have done both – the first time I was there as part of a school trip, travelling in a minibus down through France and Spain… it was certainly not very luxurious! More recently I’ve visited for a luxury travel conference and enjoyed a number of luxury experiences as part of that visit. A totally different experience but a very enjoyable one!
Some of the riads are amazing. Luxurious oasises of cool – in every sense of the word. Worth taking the trouble to make sure you get a good one.
I love the riads in Marrakech. They seem to be in some of the most unexpected locations sometimes – to find these luxurious pockets in unlikely pockets of the city makes them really unique and very memorable.
As I get older increasingly I want to do what I want to do and not what other people think I should be doing and that’s nowhere more true than with travel. Bespoke travel is definitely what I want to do.
Hi Jim… and why not!? Morocco is a wonderful destination to do just that. There are so many unique, enriching experiences on offer, but it’s good to go with an expert who has inside knowledge and can introduce you to these special gems.
I’ve heard so much good stuff about Morocco. I’m not a very adventurous traveller but I’d be more willing to give it a go if I knew that I had back-up.
Hi Suzy – that’s definitely where someone like Morocco Tours will be a good fit for you. And I think somewhere like Morocco is good to have that added piece of mind, particularly if it’s not a destination you’ve visited before.
You couldn’t have chosen a better picture to start with. Morocco is such a riot of colour and tastes.
Thanks, Chloe… that’s something I love about Morocco. All the vibrant colours! A great way to see them also is by visiting a tannery, and seeing all the dyes, etc.. I think there’s a good one in Fez that’s well worth a visit…
Morocco has to be one of the world’s top destinations for people who really enjoy their travel.
It’s got such a variety of landscapes from the coast, through the desert to the packed cities. At times it’s as if you are on another planet.
And then you’ve fantastic food and great culture: well worth doing book-binding, calligraphy and cookery courses.
As you’ve probably worked out, I’m a very frequent visitor to Morocco.
One of the riads that I stayed in offered a cookery course. It was the most beautiful location I’ve ever known for putting together a meal.
Love this guide! Custom-designed trips to Morocco are the perfect way to experience its rich culture and stunning landscapes without the crowds. Tailoring the itinerary to personal interests sounds amazing, whether it’s exploring the souks or enjoying Moroccan cuisine. Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m on a trip at the moment where I’m going around in a group of 23 and where often I can hardly hear the guide.
I should have known better and gone for a custom made tour where I can ask the guide questions and shape the experience for what my wife and I are interested in.
A desert journey across sandy dunes is one of the big gaps in my travel biography.
