Trump Ocean Club, International Hotel & TowerThe latest in Donald Trump’s growing empire is the Trump Ocean Club, International Hotel & Tower planned for Panama City, Panama. He  had said he would  develop there 3 years ago, after attending the Miss Universe pageant in the city, if the right opportunity arose.   His first foray into Central America will be a 65-story waterfront tower with hotel condominium units, condominium units, retail units, a casino, a beach club and marina. Completion will not be until 2009.

    Have heard & read a lot about Panama City being the next big destination and with Trump and some other big chains looking to open or are already open the word is they are wanting to make it the Dubai of Central America – a central hub!

    They get plent of tourists passing through with the Panama Canal being a big draw but not many of them are staying so it will be interesting to see how this develops. Has anyone stayed in Panama City and what do you think? Recommend for a trip?
