Silverjet, Maxjet and L’Avion compared

L'AvionSeasoned traveller and A Luxury Travel Blog reader,  Gianugo Rabellino, contacted me recently to say that, thanks to a recent trip to Atlanta,  he’d now flown with Silverjet, Maxjet and L’Avion.   He’s therefore well-poised to compare the three all-business airlines and has done so quite thoroughly with this entry on his own blog.   It gives a good insight into each experience. I would be interested to hear from Gianugo again should he ever get the opportunity to fly with the likes of EOS Airlines  or PrivatAir.

  1. I think Silverjet has the edge with their private terminal at Luton. The way you can check in at their lounge as late as 30 minutes before take-off is amazing and having their own security channel in the lounge is a great idea, especially nowadays with heightened security when even travelling first or business class can involve queuing in so-called fast track. Similar arrangments ar promised in Dubai where they’re flying from the executive terminal rather than the main one, i.e. the terminal used by private jet owners rather than the masses.
