Early bird upgrades with NCL

Book before 31st May 2009 with NCL Freestyle Cruising and you will be given an ‘early bird’  upgrade to the best available stateroom, offering savings of up to £250 per person. The offer includes seven-night fly-cruises travelling across the Greek Isles and Aegean Sea from Norwegian Gem’s new base in Venice – the first time NCL has based a ship at the port. The itineraries feature in NCL’s newly launched Freestyle Cruising Europe 2010 / 2011 Preview Brochure which highlights a simplified European programme, created to provide a greater choice for guests as the demand for fly-cruises grows. The brochure also features a new seven-night ‘Mediterranean Treasures’ itinerary with stops at Monte Carlo and Palma – new ports of call for NCL, as well as Norwegian Jewel’s Baltics sailings round-trip from Dover, and Norwegian Jade’s Canary Islands and Eastern Mediterranean sailings departing from Barcelona. Norwegian Gem will sail two seven-night itineraries, ‘Venice & the Greek Isles’ and ‘Venice & the Aegean Sea’ with the two being combinable to make a back-to-back 14-night sailing.

  1. What are other’s thoughts on the cruse industry ? I have heard internally that it is hurting more than hotels or air during the bad economy. I am curious what others have heard?

  2. The only problem is that many people book up early and miss out on the loads of offers and extras the cruise companies are offering as the departure date gets closer – it is maybe more advantageous in this current market to hold off booking early.
