The world’s biggest snowball fight!
Quebec Winter Carnival, celebrating its 60th year , is asking Quebec’s population to participate in the world’s biggest snowball fight. The goal is 6,000 participants. If you feel like going along, the even will be held on 1st February – the first Saturday of the carnival, from noon to 4.00 pm, on the Plains of Abraham.
The Quebec Winter Carnival is the world’s largest winter Carnival, pushing the limits by organising larger than life activities with an international impact. What better way to show their love of Winter and their festive character than to set a new record while playing outside!
For the activity to be held, the Carnival must ensure that the population participates in large numbers. The activity is reserved for over 18s and requires them to wear any type of helmet and safety eyewear (for example, bike or construction helmet and safety or ski goggles).
