1. The finest shopping in town

It’s no secret that Barcelona is home to some of the most elite shops and top fashion brands in the world. The city is filled with numerous stores that are as bang on trend as New York and Paris. Barcelona’s luxury boulevard is Passeig de Gràcia, which is filled with the flagship stores of international names such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, and many more. This is one of Spain’s most expensive streets, and it’s easy to see why.

2. Pamper yourself like the star you are

After a hard day’s shopping and sightseeing, perhaps it’s time to treat yourself to a relaxing spa session. Barcelona has plenty of hidden oases which are just waiting to whisk you away to another world. One of the most highly regarded spas in Barcelona is the Zen Zone Spa at the Gran Hotel La Florida, in Tibidabo. Another favourite is the Aire de Barcelona Arabic baths which is situated in the trendy Born district, at Passeig Picasso 22. Hot tubs, cold pools, aromatherapy massages, facials and plenty more treatments await.

3. Extravagant dining in Barcelona

Barcelona is bursting with creative restaurants that serve up a unique dining experience. You’ll find a great combination of exquisite traditional specialties and international cuisine in some of the most prestigious establishments in town. One of the top restaurants is ABaC, at Av. Tibidabo 1. With two Michelin stars under its belt, this takes the haute cuisine experience to a whole new level. There’s also the world famous Tickets run by the brother of celebrity chef Ferran Adrià, in the downtown area of Parallel which offers a 33 course tasting menu and a dining experience that you will never forget.

There are various helicopter trips around the city on offer from companies such as Viator which provide amazing panoramic views. This luxurious experience in Barcelona will grant you a birds-eye peek at the beautiful Catalan capital that will leave you speechless.

A hot air balloon tour of the wonderful landscapes surrounding Barcelona is also an unforgettable experience. Many companies, such as Ballooning, offer the chance to sail over Catalonia’s mountains, its beautiful forests, its golden coastline and much more, all topped off with a cool glass of Cava on board and a typical Catalan feast when you land. Bliss!

5. Sail away in style

Experience the beauty of Barcelona as you take in the gorgeous views of the charming Mediterranean and city skyline from the comfort of a yacht. Private sailing trips are can be arranged all year round with Skyline Barcelona. Get ready to board an elegant yacht and soak up the sun in style the next time you’re in Barcelona.

  1. Even if this article is about luxury, it does not give a real idea of what is Barcelona. For example,You can find in Barcelona luxury hotel as Casa Fuster. It is a luxury hotel with history and catalan touch. Is it easy to find the flagship stores of international brands but it would be more interesting to write about luxury spanish or catalan brands that are not known by international tourists.

I do agree with Claude. This article doesn’t give any idea about what Barcelona can offer under the Luxury Flag, Food, Hotels and Fashion.

I agree with the comments above, Barcelona has so much more to offer than what is mentioned here. Most those activities can be done in any major capital. Las Ramlas – now that is a different story.
