The evening was rounded off with some live Motown music and a charity auction to raise funds for the Family Holiday Association was held. A big ‘thank you’ to Travelmole for hosting such a great event.
I’ve been meaning to mention this for a while but things have been so busy. Earlier this year I was shortlisted for the award of Best Travel Blog in the Travelmole Web Awards and I attended an awards ceremony sponsored by Pure Michigan at the Rah Rah Room in London’s Piccadilly area. The awards aim to “recognize the best web, social, mobile and travel technology deployments”.
The award for the Best Travel Blog category was sponsored by Exodus Travels and I’m delighted to be able to tell you that Did you enjoy this article?

This comes as no surprise to me after reading so many of your articles. Congratulations to all involved .
Thank you, Andrew… that’s very kind. :)
Congratulations Paul, I think one of the key strengths of your blog is that it not only focuses on the traditional luxury destinations but also includes lesser known regions and highlights their potential within the upscale travel segment.
Congratulations Paul. I can see how hard you work and the content on the site is excellent. A well deserved honour.
Congratulations Paul – well deserved and ‘A Luxury Travel Blog’ really lives up to it’s name. I’ve saved lots of articles for inspiration and help on our trips in the future. Thank you.
Thank you, Yves… always good to hear what we are doing (or not doing) well, so that feedback is really helpful.
Thank you, Candice… friends think I am just on one long holiday, but that couldn’t be further from the truth!!! :)

Congratulations Paul. You deserve the honor, no doubt! I’ve been an avid reader and recently opened my own travel blog. I hope to achieve the same status as you one day – I would settle for a less lucrative award and 10% of your following, in all honesty.
Well deserved Paul. I’ve read quite a few travel blogs in my time. Yours is one I’ve had bookmarked for a while. Congrats!
Thank you, Izy, Daphne and Alex! :)
Fabulous Paul, well done. I
